Microsoft has just teamed up with an Italian jewellery company
Damiani to make some very premium Lumia 950 back covers. The leather covers
comes in white and black along with gold ring and ten brilliant cut diamonds.
Yes one more thing each Lumia case also come with a numbered plate made of gold
to show off.
The above mentioned gold numbered plate is a limited edition
cover that will set fashion conscious purchasers back a whopping 1,950 euros,
which is around $2175 USD as per the current exchange rates.
Sadly, the covers are only available for purchase in Italy.
Here is what Microsoft said about the collaboration:
“The collaboration with Damiani is the celebration of
excellence, creativity and design, Damiani Jewellery and Microsoft technology.”
Damiani were also excited to launch this cover, they said
that the diamond encrusted Lumia 950 cover is a ‘jewel for life’.
They stated :
“We are so very proud to offer our customers a phone that
has the ability to turn into a jewel for life as well as an after sales service
dedicated that buy the smart phone”
And Damiani will be shipping the covers to its customers
with some special packaging too. (shown in the pic)
The price tag of the covers would definitely make even the biggest
Lumia fans among us to might think twice before purchasing it.
